The context of the project with the La Poste Group

The group conducted a significant review of its treasury management systems and market operations, in the form of a master plan. Among its main objectives:

to obtain scalable support for Finance function activities in a constantly evolving internal and external environment, while improving the operational efficiency of its value chain.
to optimize, standardize, and streamline the Front-to-Finance process.
integrate a unique and centralized solution for all entities of the group.

The application landscape of the La Poste Group was heterogeneous and comprised multiple software components.

The solution provided by myDiapason

The La Poste Group selected the myDiapason TMS (Treasury Management System).

Defining a “core model” at the beginning of the project allowed for the establishment of two phases to handle the replacement of several tools that managed:

market operations
the treasury
the accounting and its reporting
the valuation of portfolios, particularly in the context of collateralization

Lot 1 involved all the tools for treasury management and market operations, forming the backbone of the project.

Lot 2 concerned the deployment of cash management, the pilot, and forecast management for the entire group.

Everything was configured within the TMS to meet the specific business needs of 80 users across about ten entities. The flexibility of the tool also allows for the handling of needs outside the standard scope of a treasury.

A project implemented on time, which will be expanded. The two phases were delivered within the allocated timeframe, meeting the expected quality level, thanks to the effective management by both the La Poste and Diapason teams. A phase 3 has already been initiated to go even further.
